Bridging to Resilience

The Reset & Return Room serves as a proactive approach to student regulation and skill development, reducing classroom disruptions and improving student engagement. By implementing structured guidelines, scheduled breaks, alternative workspaces, and targeted interventions, schools can foster a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. This session will outline the framework and provide resources.

While trauma-informed practices must be rooted in Tier 1 and continued in Tier 2, schools still have some students requiring more intensive intervention.  Out-of-school suspensions contribute to the school to prison pipeline, and our students need to remain at school more than ever.  This session's objective is to outline an alternative program that identifies and  supports students proactively, minimizes out-of-school suspensions, and continues to support students once they return to the general education classroom all while heavily involving parents and classroom teachers.

The Plus Wonder Education team is excited to present a dynamic workshop at the Bridging to Resilience Conference. Our session explores how to cultivate deep connections amongst students, teachers, and communities by applying the life-tested wisdom of our partnerships of purpose.

Through engaging activities and hands-on experience, participants will:

• Understand the Plus Wonder framework for building Deep Connections.
• Explore the application of the Six Degrees of Connection in their respective professional settings.
• Gain familiarity with specific Plus Wonder activities related to the Degree/Virtue of most interest to them and their professional context.
• Explore the Plus Wonder Free Education Toolkits designed to foster empathy, curiosity, and collaboration in classrooms.

This interactive workshop will equip participants with practical tools to strengthen relationships within their communities. Facilitators will attend both in-person and virtually.
