About me
As the Director of Field Experiences and Assistant Professor of Education at Park University, Brant pours himself into his work with education practicum students, cooperating teachers, and local school districts; in doing so, he represents Park University’s commitment to academic excellence. His focus on students extends to his scholarly and service duties. Dr. Winn’s grant funded interdisciplinary research, on the topic of “Trauma and Resilience” and “Post-Traumatic Growth” has brought new concepts and approaches to Park University for working with military and veteran students as well as incoming freshmen. Through his service to the Faculty Center for Innovation at Park University as a Faculty Fellow, Spark Tank award winner, and New Faculty Support Associate, he helps provide faculty development for over 1600 full/part time faculty around the globe. In these roles, he has mentored other faculty in developing new teaching and learning strategies that respond to the increasingly complex needs of students and adults.
