Robert Beltz has served public education for over two decades as a classroom teacher, English Language Development (ELD) specialist, and trauma informed coach. An instructor of the Applied Educational Neuroscience graduate certificate program at Butler University, he also serves as a consultant for Robert’s Reach, Revelations in Education, and the Trauma Informed Educators Network. His certifications and experiences in Trauma-Responsiveness, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Applied Education Neuroscience, and English as a Second Language provide a unique intersectionality that has been the blueprint for Robert as he integrates the mind-body approaches that are foundational to learning.
Passionate about social-emotional learning and collective care for adults in education, Robert understands that a culture of belonging begins with the adult nervous system. His primary focus is on enhancing social-emotional learning, honoring the nature of identity, and promoting brain development specifically for students who have been impacted by trauma. Above all, Robert faithfully and unapologetically disrupts systems that no longer serve today’s youth through advocacy, equitable practices, and brain-aligned strategies.
