About me
This is my sixteenth year in education and sixth year as the K-4 reading interventionist in Maize, KS. Prior to reading intervention, I taught third grade for ten years. I am currently working on my dissertation for a doctoral degree in educational psychology from Wichita State University. My dissertation research examines teacher perceptions of implementation fidelity of reading MTSS for special education versus general education students. My other professional interests include: ADHD and literacy, interventions for inattention, general education interventions for literacy and behavior, and social emotional/behavior supports for elementary students. My daughter's autism and ADHD diagnoses have largely impacted my professional interests.
